MTB Signs an Agreement with SSL WIRELESS
Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has recently signed an agreement with SSL WIRELESS at a simple ceremony held at MTB Center, Dhaka. Under this agreement MTB account holders can recharge their mobile through MTB ATM and credit cardholders can avail upto 36 months EMI facility at 0% interest from SSLCOMMERZ through MTB Credit Card.
Ashish Chakraborty, Chief Operating Officer, SSL WIRELESS and Syed Rafiqul Haq, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of Mutual Trust Bank signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at a simple ceremony held at MTB Centre, Gulshan 1, Dhaka. Sayeeful Islam, Managing Director of SSL WIRELESS and Anis A. Khan, Managing Director & CEO of Mutual Trust Bank along with senior officials of both the organizations were also present at the event .

ACCA will work for BPO sector development
ACCA will work for BPO sector development of Bangladesh in short run, mid run and long run. The announcement was given from a roundtable titled ‘The Role of Professional Bodies to Help the BPO Sector to Thrive’ organized by ACCA Bangladesh. The roundtable discussion was held on February 06, 2017 at a local restaurant in the capital.
The program was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest Honorable State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications & Information Technology. Towhid Hossain, Secretary General of Bangladesh Association of Call Center & Outsourcing (BACCO) cordially hosted the event. Syed Asif Aziz,ACCA; BDM Strategic Relation of ACCA Bangladesh delivered the key note presentation. Along with others Stuart Dunlop, ACCA Regional Director for Middle East North Africa South Asia (MENASA), Mohua Rashid, Country Manager of ACCA Bangladesh, Sami Ahmed, Component Team Leader (IT/ITES), LICT Leveraging ICT for Growth Employment and Governance, Suraiya Zannath, Lead Financial Management Specialist, World Bank Group, Ahmadul Hoq, President of BACCO, Wahidur Rahman Sharif, Vice President of BACCO, Uttam Kumar Paul, Director of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), Razib Ahmed, President of e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-Cab), were present on the occasion. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, said, “Bangladesh government has declared IT and BPO as the next priority after RMG sector. Now Finance and Accounting Outsourcing has become an integral part of the BPO sector.

Syed Asif Aziz presented the key note paper with Bangladesh potentialities with Accounting BPO, Global and Regional perspectives, ACCA Member and Professional network to support BPO sector for development, industry expertise to support Finance Accounting Outsourcing.
Ahmadul Hoq said, “The biggest issue is people. We have to develop skilled and capable workforce at larger scale for the BPO sector to capture the market.
Wahidur Rahman Sharif BACCO said, “International market is ready. Our domestic market is also growing. We need to be prepared and start.
Towhid Hossain said, being located in geographically advantageous location in terms of Time Zone our country has the advantages to capture the worldwide BPO industry.
In the roundtable panelists also discussed about theACCA global acceptance among employers and BPO organisations. They also discussed how ACCA can create platform for the Bangladeshi BPO employers for organisational development in BPO industry .
