HP Demonstrates ePrint Print from Anywhere

Hewlett-Packard Imaging and Printing Group demonstrated HP ePrint, the latest offering from HP in the HP Technology Leadership Session held in a local restaurant in Dhaka. More than 100 invitees, mostly IT Managers, CEOs, IT Specialists, Consultants from Corporate, SMB, Enterprise and Govt participated in this informative session. HP said this feature enable users to print from anywhere in the world to any printer in the world, if they are connected to internet. HP ePrinters are enabled with cloud printing technology, using HP secure ePrint cloud. A user can print from any internet connected device like laptop, smart phone, tablet to any ePrinter s/he has access to. They can print from any place like home, office, hotel, car, boat even walking. The users are no longer needed to be present at their desks to do their print jobs. As HP demonstrated, it is as easy as sending email. All a user has to do is send an email to his/her selected printer’s address. S/he can attach the document in the email or can write the text in email body and the ePrinter will recognize the format and print it. Users can print almost all types of documents jpg, pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt etc. Currently HP Resellers are offering ePrinter B110 All-in-one and and ePrinter OJ6500Plus All-in-one in Bangladesh market. Many of the previously launched printers can also be upgraded to ePrint capable printer thru free firmware upgrade from HP websites. In a live demonstration, Md. Abdul Munnaf, Market Development Manager of Hewlett-Packard Bangladesh IPG, showed the audience how easily the ePrinters can print a document sent from the invited audiences smart phone. In the closing speech Mr. Shabbir Shafiullah, Country Manager of Hewlett-Packard Bangladesh IPG highlighted that HP is among the first companies to receive ISO14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management system. In a question and answer session he informed that HP has recycling program called “Planet Partner Program” to recycle used print cartridges and hardware in environment friendly and ISO certified way in many countries of the world
