Intel Next Unit of Computing an ultra-small form factor PC
Intel continues to evolve its ultra-small form factor Intel NUC PC kit. NUC which stands for ‘Next Unit of Computing’ is a PC in a surprisingly small package that can serve as Home Theater PCs, Media Servers or ‘Personal Cloud’ storage. Panasonic branded shop opens at Stadium Market
Country’s leading communications solutions vendor EMEM Systems launches first ever Panasonic branded shop at Bangabandhu National Stadium Market On 23 June last to provide one stop telephony solutions.

Oracle becomes the second largest cloud saas company in the world
Now Oracle Corporation is the industry’s second-largest SaaS vendor with 3% to $11.3 billion total revenue up for Q4 of Fiscal 2014 while SaaS (software-as-a-service) and PaaS (platform-as-a-service) revenue rose 25 percent to $322 million and IaaS (infrastructure-as-a-service) sales jumped 13 percent to $128 million.
New software licenses revenues were unchanged at $3.8 billion. Software license updates and product support revenues were up 7% to $4.7 billion. Overall hardware systems revenues were up 2% to $1.5 billion with hardware systems products up 2% to $870 million, and hardware systems support up 2% to $596 million.
“Oracle is now the second largest SaaS company in the world,” said Oracle CEO Larry Ellison. “In SaaS, we’re in front of everybody but salesforce.com. In IaaS we’re larger and more profitable than Rackspace. We plan to increase our focus on the Cloud and become number one in both the SaaS and the PaaS businesses.”
