Acer Joins Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition
Acer announces that its application to become an Applicant Member of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) has been approved, highlighting the importance of a structured social and employment endorsement.
In his membership application letter to the EICC, Acers Senior Corporate VP and President of IT Products Global Operation, Jim Wong, noted that, “As a major global IT company, Acer is fully committed to the principles of corporate social responsibility.”
It may be noted that as far their vision by applying high standards Acer can create better social, economic and environmental outcomes for all those involved in the Electronics and ICT supply chains.
Acers mission is to deliver these benefits through a shared approach to implementing the EICC Code of Conduct. This approach will reduce duplication, focus efforts on positive social and environmental change

HP Designs Sleek and Affordable Mini Notebook
On July 31, 2008 last HP unveiled two new inspirational HP Imprint designs at Dhaka in Bangaldesh. The Mesh HP Imprint on the new HP Pavilion dv3000 Entertainment Notebook PC – HPs first 13.3-inch Pavilion notebook computer, and the Unity HP Imprint on the Compaq Presario CQ20 Notebook PC with Bangladesh fashion industry leader Khalid Khan. It exudes a strong sense of style and professionalism with its new Mesh HP Imprint Finish that presents an array of tiny squares which give a visual representation of structure, strength and precision.
“True to its design and innovation promise, HP was the first notebook manufacturer to offer a signature in-mould HP Imprint design for its consumer notebook computers.
