Canon Delegates Complete Successful Visit in Bangladesh

A three-member delegate lead by Mr Wrixon Wong, Senior Area Manager, Consumer Imaging and Information Products Division, Teoh Pang Kee, a renowned imaging and photography specialist in South East Asia, and David Yeo recently came on a four day visit to Bangladesh from December 19, 2011 to December 22, 2011.

During their visit, they attended different seminars, meetings and exchanged their experience with different tiers of the photographic community- beginner, amateur, studio and professional photographers. They also visited BCS Computer City, the leading ICT hub in the country, as well as Multi-Plan Computer City. The foreign delegates met the different Canon dealers at a dinner at a local restaurant.



Teoh Pang Kee conducted several seminars. He, along with the other two high officials of Canon, visited some of the leading media houses in the country like Daily Prothom Alo, Daily Sun and Bangladesh Protidin, where Mr Teoh talked to the press photographers on how to better handle their cameras and how to set the camera to optimize performance and enhance every shot.

The experts from Canon also shared their tips and experiences with the professional photographers about the maintenance and post production tricks for 1D Mark IV, 5D MkII, 7D DSLR cameras from Canon. Mr. Teoh talked about the attractive features of Canon's upcoming EOS 1Dx DSLR camera and new flash and transmitter products

The session with the studio photographic community was jointly organized with the officials of Bangladesh Photographic Association (BPA). This session allowed Mr Teoh to help the participants better improve their skills in handling and utilizing their Cameras for different type of photo-shoots and events with the necessary tools.

They answered various questions of the photographers who were highly pleased to have a session like this and requested hoped to see more of these endeavors from Canon and J.A.N Associates in the near future. Mr. Teoh took part in a street photography program with a group of photographers to teach them in depth features and tricks in handling different scenarios most of them come across.

The high officials of Canon were pleased with the growing popularity of Canon in Bangladeshi market. They expressed their satisfaction with J.A.N Associates for making Canon camera the number one brand in the digital camera market in Bangladesh. They also expressed their pleasure at witnessing the keen interest of the photographers working in the leading media houses about Canon DSLR cameras.
